Follow with us the story of the New Bazaly
The Bazaly Stadium has become an icon of Ostrava over time. It is perceived as such not only by the fans of the Baník Ostrava football team and sports enthusiasts but also by all Ostravans who live for their city and know what has shaped and continues to shape the identity of the Moravian-Silesian metropolis. We are at the beginning, but this beginning looks promising. We know that Baník can return to Bazaly. The city of Ostrava was involved in the inception of an architectural competition, which will lead to the creation of the „New Bazaly“, a top-tier stadium fully comparable to the famous football cathedrals of contemporary Europe. Nearly thirty architectural firms have expressed interest in participating in the competition. Bazaly resonates, has a reputation, and is a symbol. Firms from Prague to London to Kansas City want to design its new look. On these official, continuously updated pages of the New Bazaly project, you will witness the rebirth of a symbol. A symbol of Ostrava. A symbol of football. Welcome!
